Meet the Instructors

Natural Connections Photo Workshops is the brainchild of married team, Jeff and Ledra Woodlee.  Their mutual love of photography is the essential cornerstone of this venture.  Together they do what they love best - teaching photography workshops around the country for people who like to travel, learn photography and have lots of fun doing it!

Prior to meeting, both Ledra and Jeff conducted photo workshops individually.  But once they combined forces they discovered a collective 20-year base of photo knowledge to offer to their students. Through classroom lecture, critiques and hands-on instruction in the field, they offer their students the ability to address their specific needs and to develop their photographic talents.

What Ledra and Jeff bring to the table is larger than the sum of its parts. Teaching how to capture inspiring images is important, but that isn’t all they do. With a background in retail photography sales and service, Jeff and Ledra possess a broad collective knowledge of most things photographic - photography gear in addition to photographic technique.  Everything they have learned in the retail environment has only served to deepen their knowledge and ability to help their workshop participants in the classroom and in the field as well.

Ledra Davis Woodlee - Instructor/Owner

Ledra Davis Woodlee is an Atlanta-based photographic artist whose greatest love involves traveling and capturing images from the most picturesque places within this country and beyond.  She is particularly attracted to the vastness and rugged beauty of the American West and Northwest. Although Ledra has been known to supplement her photography excursions with wedding and portrait shoots - it is truly the call of the outdoors that excites her most when she has a camera in her hands.

Ledra has been a professional photographer for over eight years, teaching and speaking to groups in the South and beyond. Her work has been featured in local and regional publications across the Southeast and is held in PNC Bank's corporate art collection. As an accomplished photographer well versed in Photoshop and Lightroom, the only thing Ledra loves as much as actually photographing is teaching others about photography.  Leading people in the field and watching the progression of their skills and artistic vision is particularly fulfilling for Ledra.  With her fun, enthusiastic and hands-on style of teaching, Ledra encourages her students not only to push their limits but to also enjoy every second of doing it.
